As we're sure all of you are aware, Rdj is set to return to the Marvel Cinematic Universe as the iconic villain in Avengers: Doomsday (or before if he shows up in a certain post-credits scene). Whether he'll be a Tony Stark variant gone bad or a version of Doom who just happens to resemble Iron Man remains to be seen.

The image obviously doesn't feature the McU's Doom (it's one of the earliest depictions of the character), but we don't imagine the Academy Award-winner's take on the mask/outfit looking a million miles away from the most recognizable incarnation of Doom.

The playful ad, directed by Matthew Vaughn (The Kingsman) places the two Chrises in a museum where they take advantage of the Ray-Ban Meta glasses’ real-time AI features. The Ray-Ban Meta product is the latest attempt to take smart-glasses mainstream by making the wearable tech less intrusive-seeming and more stylish (it’s available in three different frames, including the iconic Wayfarer). The Rocky IV star was reportedly diagnosed with kidney cancer in 2015, and while he was symptom-free for a few years, he was given only two to three years to live by a doctor on a subsequent visit.

Cut to 2024 and Lundgren announced that he was a surgery away from being completely cancer-free. He thanked the support of his fans and well-wishers for helping him recover through the ordeal. Anthony Mackie is set to make his solo Marvel debut next month with Captain America: Brave New World. As one of the most anticipated movies of this year, the hype around it is phenomenal. While Mackie is riding the hype to its fullest, there is one wish that remains unachieved for the star.

Mackie spoke on the matter in an interview a couple of years ago. According to him, while he had tremendous fun shooting for the upcoming release, he would also appreciate collaborating with other Marvel veterans for a project.

Namely, the former Captain America star Chris Evans, Thor star Chris Hemsworth, and his The Falcon and the Winter Soldier co-star Sebastian Stan. The main reason behind that is he believes they would cause unprecedented chaos in the movie, which not just them but also the audience would enjoy.

Imagine for a second—just imagine if the role of Iron Man had gone to the ever-iconic Tom Cruise. Would the Marvel Cinematic Universe (MCU) still be the juggernaut it is today? Would the MCU have reached the same heights, or would it have been a different journey altogether?

Back when Marvel Studios was looking to launch its universe, casting the iconic Tony Stark was no small feat. Initially, the name that kept coming up for the role was none other than Tom Cruise. The Hollywood staple known for his action chops and A-list star power seemed like a safe choice. After all, this was the guy who had already conquered the box office with Top Gun and Mission: Impossible.

However, Kevin Feige is definitely cooking up something with the MCU; a Secret Wars recipe that we can only smell from a distance for now.

With all the flops and disappointments at the box office, Marvel has taken a step back with the number of yearly releases to work on its quality. The upcoming Avengers films, Doomsday and Secret Wars, are supposed to bring back the same zeal and emotions fans once felt while watching Infinity War and Endgame.

Two of Marvel’s famous “Chris” actors are teaming up for a new adventure – a commercial that will air during the 2025 Super Bowl next month!

Thor star Chris Hemsworth and Star-Lord actor Chris Pratt teamed up with Meta to film a new TV spot for the brand’s Ray-Ban Meta Glasses.
