Shah Hussain is a British actor born in Solihull, Birmingham. He is the eldest of three siblings and moved with his family from Birmingham to Slough in county Berkshire just outside West London aged 7.
Shah is married and has three children. He trained under the tutelage of Mark Pegg of The Acting Academy and is also an alumni of The Actors Studio under Tim Kent.
Shah has an excellent on screen presence having played a multitude of characters in different casting types. He has an aura of brilliance around him and transitions his skills and experience to the screen like a natural.
Since 2004 Shah has been practicing Martial Arts namely Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu where he is of Black belt rank and a two time British Champion. He went on to train in Mixed Martial Arts and compete as a Professional fighter in MMA having won a Championship Title on the domestic scene and compete internationally. Having had 26 Pro bouts to his resume, Shah retired from Professional competition in Dec 2018.
Shah is a dynamic and versatile actor he is multilingual and fluently speaks Urdu, Punjabi and Hindi. He is also trained in stage combat and has stunts experience.
