Kaitlin Olson and Daniel Sunjata in ‘High Potential’ episode 10 (Disney/Carlos Lopez-Calleja)
The murder-of-the-week at the center of ABC’s High Potential episode 10, “Chutes and Murders,” is introduced when two little girls literally collide with a dead body. A playground slide turns into a murder scene when the girls find their passage blocked by a corpse.
Nannies reveal the dead woman is Tara Foley, also a nanny who frequents the park. The medical examiner tells the detectives a heavy blow to the head killed her. Her attacker hit Tara nearby, and then she crawled into the slide to escape. She died around 10pm, and unfortunately, there aren’t any CCTV cameras nearby.
The nannies reveal a weird guy had been hanging around the park, and he seemed interested in Tara.
Morgan (Kaitlin Olson) has been quiet during all this, but Tara’s dinging phone is driving her crazy. She puts...

High Potential Season 1 Episode 10 Is a Masterclass in Restraint, Forcing Morgan Into Mama Bear Mode
It looks like High Potential is, once again, back to putting the case of Roman’s disappearance on the back burner. This series is amazing, but it’s playing a game of chicken with the audience.
Not that I’m complaining or anything, but a little consistency goes a long way. If you’re anything like this TV Fanatic, you like your loose ends wrapped up nicely in a bow.
High Potential has delivered one amazing episode after another with a cast of incredibly talented actors — not to mention writing that takes audiences on an emotional roller coaster.
(Disney/Carlos Lopez-Calleja)
What more could the executives at ABC need to give a knock-out series like this the go-ahead for another season? Hell, give High Potential a multiple-season renewal.
If for no other reason than for some assurance that we will see some of the hilarious characters introduced in High Potential Season 1 Episode 10 again.

When the cast and creators of Queer Eye met with Vice President Kamala Harris in her ceremonial office on Thursday, there was very quickly a reminder that the show’s impact was far greater than style guidance.
Marking Pride Month, Harris called the series “groundbreaking” in that it raised the consciousness of the LGBTQ+ community.
She met with executive producers David Collins and Michael Williams, current cast members Karamo Brown and Jonathan Van Ness, and original cast members Carson Kressley and Jai Rodriguez. The show launched on Bravo in 2003 and then returned on Netflix in 2018.
Kressley said, “One of the most grateful things I have for that show is that so many young people come up to me today … and say, ‘Your show helped me come out because it allowed a safe dialog with my family to say, ‘Oh, he’s Ok’.”
He even said that some had told him...

After Showtime canceled Uncoupled after saving it from cancellation at Netflix, cast members are mourning the Neil Patrick Harris comedy series on social media. “Welp, I guess I’m not going to NYC in May to shoot,” Jai Rodriguez, the former Queer Eye for the Straight Guy star who played pal Jonathan #2 in Uncoupled, wrote in his Instagram Stories, according to Deadline. Dan Amboyer, who played love interest Luke in the series, also reacted to the surprise cancellation on Instagram. “Sad that there won’t be a season 2 of #Uncoupled after all,” he wrote on Friday. “Thankful for my experience, would have loved to see this story go on. Following Showtime’s decision not to proceed with a new season of Uncoupled after Netflix’s cancellation, the series’ cast is breaking their silence.
Jai Rodriguez, who played Jonathan #2, took to social media to share his thoughts about the show getting canceled for good.
“Welp, guess I’m not going to NYC in May to shoot,” Rodriguez posted on Instagram Stories.
The Neil Patrick Harris-starring comedy created by Darren Star and Jeffrey Richman premiered all eight episodes of the first season on July 29, 2022. In January 2023, Netflix canceled the series after a single season. However, a month later, Showtime stepped up and picked up a second season of the comedy, which had been delayed due to the writers’ strike.
Following the show’s demise, Dan Amboyer, who played Harris’s love interest, shared a heartfelt message on Instagram.

In 2003, five gay men with massive star power set breakout network Bravo ablaze. Queer Eye for the Straight Guy was a groundbreaking series not only for Bravo but it also changed the face and feel of reality television.
The magic behind the series was the playful and sometimes sarcastic exchanges between the five stars, Aka the “Fab Five” and how they related to their designated episodic “straight guy.” Interior design guru Thom Filicia said the spiciness in their banter is one big reason why the series worked so well.

Not long after Bravo canceled Queer Eye for the Straight Guy in 2007, the show’s creators thought their showbiz careers were over. Despite masterminding one of the 21st century’s seminal reality TV hits, David Collins, Rob Eric and Michael Williams — the team behind Scout Productions, founded in 1994 as a scrappy indie film outfit based out of Boston — were struggling to find another hit now that they’d been rebranded as unscripted lifestyle guys. “In 2004, we won an Oscar for The Fog of War and an Emmy for Queer Eye,” Collins says. “Two years after that, we could not get arrested. There was a moment where I was like, ‘All right, am I going to become a barista?’ “

The Queer Eye season 7 premiere on Netflix is reigniting interest in the Fab Five, and it's time to discuss the current ages of cast members Tan France, Antoni Porowski, Jonathan Van Ness, Bobby Berk, and Karamo Brown. Queer Eye for the Straight Guy premiered in July 2003. On the Emmy-winning show, five gay men helped straight men by giving them makeovers, along with advice about everything from home décor to diet. Back then, Ted Allen, Carson Kressley, Kyan Douglas, Thom Filicia, and Jai Rodriguez were members of the Fab Five. The show retired in 2007, but made a comeback with a new and diverse cast in 2018.
Similar to the original Fab Five from Queer Eye, the new cast also revamped wardrobes, redecorated homes, and offered advice on grooming, lifestyle, food, and wine. The show was set in Atlanta, and the Fab Five met everyday heroes who were nominated by their friends and family.

“Smile,” the horror film from Paramount and writer-director Parker Finn, made 2 million at the box office Thursday in its preview screenings from roughly 3,000 screens and that began at 7 p.m. It opens on 3,648 screens this weekend.
“Smile” opens alongside Universal’s “Bros,” the LGBTQ+ and R-rated romantic comedy from writer and star Billy Eichner. “Bros” brought in 500,000 at the box office in its own preview screenings from 2,700 theaters that began at 5 p.m. It opens on 3,350 screens this weekend.
Neither “Smile” or “Bros” is expected to break the 20 million mark this weekend, a disappointing trend for movies this month at the box office, though both have modest budgets and hope to turn a profit on the backs of strong reviews for each and some creative viral marketing, whether it’s eerily grinning fans at a baseball game or Eichner running down New York City streets with Paul Rudd and a pack of lesbians.
