Jacob Cherry(II)

Jacob Cherry is a Los Angeles-based actor originally from Sacramento, California. He is a recent graduate of UCLA's School of Theater, Film, and Television, with an emphasis in Acting and Playwriting. For his role of Will in "Love Hurts", Jacob was given the Best Actor Award at Campus Movie Festival, and has continued to make strides as an actor in front of the camera in projects like the 2023 Sundance Ignite x Adobe Fellowship winner "Ghost of You", and the indie teen comedy "Spring Break in LA" as Andrew.
In addition to acting in film, Jacob has been impressing audiences in the greater Los Angeles theater community. In 2023, he starred in Samuel D. Hunter's (The Whale) "A Bright New Boise" as Alex, and won the Desert Star Award for Best Supporting Actor. That same year, he played Michael Newsome in Greg Burdick's new play "Accommodation", which was named by StageSceneLA to be one of the Top 10 World Premiere Plays of the Year.
Jacob is an experienced comedian, particularly in the realms of improvisation and sketch comedy. For three consecutive years, he participated in UCLA's Spring Sing as a member of Company, the sketch comedy team that famously hosts the event with sketches in between each musical act. In 2022, he was rewarded with the "Best Sketch Award" by a panelist of celebrity judges, including Jim O'Heir and Nigel Lythgoe. In 2023, he starred in a sketch comedy series for Crosscheck Studios, the production company formed by TikTok star Josh Richards.
