Reid Waterer is a veteran of 270+ film festivals on 6 continents with his award-winning films. His work has been released commercially on DVD or TV in 15 different countries. A graduate of U.S.C. Film School, he began his career with a brief stint working for Peter Bogdanovich before moving into editing movie advertising trailers and TV spots. Among the films and TV shows he's created ads for are THE HANGOVER, MAMMA MIA!, SULLY, GRACE & FRANKIE, BASKETS, and IT'S ALWAYS SUNNY IN PHILADELPHIA.
His films have achieved acclaim in print reviews, on the festival circuit, on multiple internationally successful DVDs, and online (with 10 million+ YouTube views). Among the many prestigious festivals that have screened his work are the Palm Springs International Short Film Festival, Hawaii International Film Festival, Provincetown International Film Festival, Miami International Short Film Festival, Rhode Island International Film Festival, London Lesbian & Gay Film Festival, Los Angeles Outfest, and Frameline San Francisco. He was a nominee for the £25,000 Iris Prize, and winner of over a dozen Best Short jury and audience awards so far. He's also placed highly in several screenwriting competitions.
