Founder and Owner of New World Designs Ltd in the North East of England.
After leaving school, Ian became a fully qualified engineer, learning all the machine and hand tools across the industry. 10yrs later, he studied for 2 degrees, one in Product Design BA/BSC and another in BA Interactive Media at the University of Sunderland.
During which Ian set up New World Designs (NWD), which started out as a way to develop QTVR (Quick Time Virtual Reality) photography, then progressing to create a Bullet Time rig in 2002. From that point on, Ian specialised in multi camera photography, and one of the worlds most respected Bullet Time/Time Slice specialists. Moving into Photogrammetry back in 2015, and then to Volumetric in 2018. NWD and their partner companies created the worlds highest resolution Volumetric capture.
