Tara Abboud

Tara Abboud is a Palestinian-Jordanian actress who started her career through taking part in various short films, including Tima Shomali's film Log In (2008) and Amjad Al Rasheed's Princess of the Mountains (2009).
In 2019 Tara got her first TV role in Ramadan series Obour starring Saba Mubarak.
She then got her first feature film Amira (2021) by Mohamed Diab which premiered in the 78th Venice film festival.
At the end of 2020, Tara was selected as one of Screen International's Arab Stars of Tomorrow at the Cairo International Film Festival.
Her latest film, REBEL by Adil el Arabi and Billal Fallah premiered during the 75th edition of the Cannes Film Festival.
Most recently Tara played one of the leading roles in UK original Disney+ series Culprits where the Evening Standard wrote "Newcomer Tara Abboud also delivers a masterclass as Azar, unexpectedly stealing every scene she is in with the flair of a seasoned professional".
