Brian D Poole Sr.

Brian D. Poole, DJ Dank a.k.a DJ Dank Dosia was born in Warren, Ohio. After his 4th grade year at Roosevelt Elementary his mother decided to relocate to Atlanta, Georgia to show him and his younger sister there was bigger and better things to see in the world. After a short stay in Atlanta, Poole's family once again packed up and moved to Los Angeles, California. With all the cultural diversity and the intensity of the 92' L.A. Riots, it was a breeding ground for creativity. Due to illness in the family Brian (who for the rest of this document will be referred to as "DJ Dank") was relocated back to Warren, Ohio where his career in music started to come to light. Initially an unofficial member of the teen group EOZ, formed by god-brother Kevin "Young Boozilla" Gamble, DJ Dank has done numerous talent & variety shows as a rap artist and also a dancer. He also made a name for his self rocking local house parties finally getting his first bar/club break upon joining forces with Brian "Bev" Beaver together they soon made "DJ Dank" a household name. Rocking local venues such as Golden Stallion, The Cliff's a.k.a J&L Lounge, The Elks, The Glasshouse, G&S Lounge, just to name a few DJ Dank soon seen music was where his heart was and from there started to invest into his craft. In 2003 after starting talks with Richinea "Che" Porter about collaborating on an entertainment company DJ Dank co-founded "Fam Deep Entertainment" unfortunately "Che" was later killed in Pittsburgh, Pa. in 2004. Staying true to the dream DJ Dank continued to make a name for himself keeping the party going even after the club closed with his trendsetting after parties. Artist & friend "Young Trajik" mentioned DJ Dank in "Hood Magazine" taking his name from just being local DJ to being a serious force in his craft. He has also helped with putting on major events such as The Hip-Hop Hiro Tour, The Ain't No Lookin Back Comedy Show, Stop The Violence Show & Mixtape, 2014 Warren, Ohio Car Show and After Party and much more. After recovering from being shot 3 time in a club in 2009 DJ Dank has come back with a vengeance taking his brand to new heights. Presently he has been staying true to his rep continuing to keep venues from Club BBU, Premier Nightclub, & Elevate Nightclub, rocking just to mention a few. He has also been on the Youngstown radio station Star 94.7 and has been seen in movies such as "Grimy" & "The Closest Ones" with another coming late 2024 called "Close Dat Backdoor"
