Alan Bloom was born in Cape Town, South Africa, but grew up mostly in
Phoenix, Arizona. He attended Chaparral High School in Scottsdale, and
in the fall of 2001, he graduated with a degree in Media Arts from the
University of Arizona and then promptly drove out to Los Angeles.
