Fisch Rasy

I grew up in regional Australia and studied Engineering at university before joining the Army as an infantry soldier. After 8 years in the Australian Defence Force I knew I needed to hang up my rifle and try a different type of shooting.

I first began filming on a basic Canon 60D setup, just telling the stories of local people in my hometown. Within a year I had built the dominant production house in the region and did the 50 anniversary campaign for Bundaberg Brewed Drinks. This led to an exciting documentary in Doomadgee telling the stories of women living in a tiny indigenous community in remote Queensland as they traveled to PNG. This film won multiple awards and was purchased by SBS.

I quickly found myself traveling all over the world and Australia for documentary work and commercials as a Director/Cinematographer. As COVID-19 sunk in I took particular interest in my Cinematography work and chose this to focus my career. Ever since I've been building my skills and portfolio as a Director of Photography.

I'm a Cinematographer with experience in narrative, commercial and documentary work and I'm looking for my next project.
