Alexandra Qin is a French-Filipino-Chinese screenwriter and director based in New York. Before working in film, she was a software engineer, a prison reform activist, and an international public speaker. Her first short film, "Thirstygirl", based on her award-winning feature screenplay, was an official selection of Sundance 2024. She is currently developing the "Thirstygirl" feature with Asher Goldstein ("Short Term 12", "Just Mercy") and Carlos López Estrada's production company Antigravity Academy ("Dìdi").
