Eduardo Ramos Quirino is a Brazilian film and TV director and screenwriter, best known for the short film "The Red Car" (2000). Eduardo grew up in the effervescent cultural scene of the city of São Paulo. Although he recorded some songs and participated as a vocalist in several bands, he chose to pursue a career in audiovisual, enrolling in the journalism course at PUC-SP in 1981. In 1996, he released his first short film "A Desforra da Titia", based on the work of Carlos Zéfiro. The film was awarded at the Gramado Festival and several other Brazilian and international festivals and shown on English, French, North American and Italian TV. In 2001, his short film "The Red Car" received excellent reception from critics and the public.
