Val is a performer and producer based in Alberta, Canada. In addition to working as a performer in narrative theatre and film, she is also interested artistically in documentary and experimental styles. She began her filmmaking practice in 2024 with the seven-part documentary series GoGo Battles Mania! about Calgary's feminist comedy wrestling league, of which she is also one of the founding members.
