Biography

    • Harsh Vasishtha is an Indian film and television actor. He was born and brought up in Juhu, Mumbai. He completed B. Com from Mithibai College. Harsh has been a part of the entertainment industry since his birth, owing to his father Murarilal Vasishtha's association with Bollywood.

      Professionally, he started his career in 2001 although he had been a part of Kohraam in 1991 and Veerta in 1993 as a young actor. In 2002, he featured in the superhit film Sur - The Melody of Life. In the next year, he appeared in Jism movie as Frankie. He played a cameo role in yet another superhit film Baghban. Later, he also featured in Love Story 2050 in 2008 and Sirf Main Aur Tum in 2011.

      Other than Bollywood, his stint with Television has been illustrious. Harsh has been a part of several popular shows including Kum Kum as Rahul Wadhwa, Parrivaar as Pranay Kumar, Banoo Main Teri Dulhan as Rajeev Shukla to name a few.

      He has played significant roles in other famous television shows, such as Ssshhh...Phir Koi Hai, Yahan Main Ghar Ghar Kheli, Mata Ki Chowki, Qubool Hai, Savdhaan India, Crime Petrol, C.I.D, etc.

      Vasishtha was seen in Prem Ya Paheli - Chandrakanta and Kavach... Mahashivratri on Colors TV, his first show with Balaji. Furthermore, he worked in Sadda Haq as Harshvardhan Shekhawat on Channel V India besides playing the role of Amrit Singh in Doli Armano Ki.

      He holds a record for maximum characters played by a single actor in Sunn Yaar Chill Maar. The versatile actor has also assisted Mr Mahesh Bhatt by directing episodes for his show Sunn Yaar Chill Maar on Bindaas and pilot episode of Oye Jassi on Disney.
