Tim Christensen is a popular Danish musician, singer and songwriter. He
grew up in Espergærde, beginning to play the guitar at seven and
forming his first band at eight. After moving to Valby at twelve years
old he formed the band Dizzy Mizz Lizzy in 1988. When Tim was still a
teenager in 1994 the band scored a huge hit album with their
self-titled debut album. A follow-up album, Rotator, got the band
additional success in 1996. Dizzy Mizz Lizzy split in 1998, and Tim
Christensen pursued other paths in music. In 2000, he released his
debut solo album, Secrets on Parade. Another hit record for Tim
Christensen, the album included such radio hits as "21st Century High"
and "Love Is A Matter Of..." A new solo release is expected for 2003.
In addition to establishing a successful solo career, Tim Christensen
has also recorded and written for other Danish artists, including
Kashmir, Inside the Whale, Mew, Pernille Rosendahl, and Swan Lee.
