"One down, two to go." Vertical has revealed an official trailer for an indie horror thriller film titled Dead Sea, formerly known as Flycatcher before the title change for its release. Is either title good? This hasn't played at any film festivals, but it was picked up during an AFM sale a few years ago. Stranded in the open sea after a fatal jet ski accident, a young woman and her two friends are rescued by a fishing vessel's captain, unaware that the ship harbors a chilling secret. From this trailer, it looks like it's an organ harvesting vessel - this seems to be like Eli Roth's Hostel but on a boat. Dead Sea stars Isabel Gravitt, Genneya Walton, Alexander Wraith, with Dean Cameron, Garrett Wareing, Al Burke, Brian Silverman, and Koa Tom. Eager for a rare opportunity for a new life on a new planet, a man has only one obstacle to overcome: find his wife. The trailer for Aleem Hossain's debut feature, After We Leave, looks spare yet inviting, accompanied by an entrancing musical theme and snatches of dialogue that impart an intense tone to the proceedings. Briefly, it "is a gritty sci-fi drama about a man who has a once-in-a-lifetime chance to emigrate off Earth... if only he can find his estranged wife and convince her to come with him." Brian Silverman stars. Julie Kirkwood served as director of photography. Hossain, Silverman, and Kirkwood produced. Clay Wilcox, Anita Leeman-Torres and Anslem Richardson also star. The Washington, DC engagement of Jersey Boys broke the box office record at the National Theatre for the third time. For the week ending Sunday, December 6, grossing $1,289,023.00. the musical broke its own record set in November, 2009.

Jersey Boys opened to rave reviews on Sunday, October 4 and it will play through Saturday evening, December 12. From there, the national tour will play Detroit from December 17 through January 23, 2010.

The cast of Jersey Boys is lead by Matt Bailey (Tommy DeVito), Joseph Leo Bwarie (Frankie Valli), Josh Franklin (Bob Gaudio), original Broadway cast member Steve Gouveia (Nick Massi), with Jonathan Hadley and Joseph Siravo.

Wow. Central Division is one intense cop drama. The four episode first season will cost you ten minutes of your life in viewing time, but a lot more than that in reflection. I’ve never seen so many twists and turns in such a short span of time with no more than two characters and a body. The minimalist cast consists of Brian Silverman as Det. Alan Edwards and Clay Wilcox as Det. Frank Hodge. You’ve seen both of these guys on a smattering of tv shows from Life and Cold Case for Silverman’s part to Criminal Minds and Heroes on the Wilcox side of things. Though usually bit players in these shows, these two guys are displaying some serious acting chops here. Of course they seem to be in capable hands with the series creator-writer-director Aleem Hossain, who helmed the the sci-fi web series It Ends Today...
