Shoaib Shawl

Born in Jammu & Kashmir, India, Shoaib is a Production Designer and Art Director. Inspired by the majestic Himalayas, Shoaib began painting in childhood and his penchant for storytelling began early when he was selected for the Skilling India in Film and Television workshop initiated by the Film and Television Institute of India. Shoaib moved to LA in 2019 and completed his BFA in Filmmaking program at the New York Film Academy after which he was selected for the prestigious Academy Gold Rising Program by the Academy of Motion Picture Arts and Sciences. Following that, he was chosen among the 75 Creative Minds Of Tomorrow by the National Film Development Corporation of India. He has had the opportunity to collaborate with several artists, giving him a diverse perspective of art and industry experience.
