- Lincoln Edwards is a six-time awarded Director/Filmmaker. Born and raised in San Diego, California, he began making his first movies at 10 years old, using an iPod 5. He and his family moved to Texas in 2014, where he continued his passion utilizing YouTube for a creative outlet. After being kicked out of his high school video class his sophomore year, he was asked by his coach (who was a supporter of his) to make the submission video for a national video contest. Lincoln's video won first place, achieving an $800K award for his school. He achieved public recognition following this first major award.
The following summer, he gathered $1k, family, and friends from his film class, to make his first official short film "01' Escalade." Lincoln was awarded "Best Young Filmmaker" at the Lake Travis Film Festival in Austin, Texas, "Best Student Short Film" at The Hill Country Film Festival, and "Best Student Film" at the Gulf Coast Film and Video Festival.
After some acting in a film class in his hometown, Lincoln had the opportunity to do supporting, co-star, and leading roles in several projects.
