Tilda Kiianlehto

Tilda Kiianlehto is a multi-skilled film professional - experienced both in front and behind the camera, on screen (big & small), in voice over and on stage. Born in 1995 in Connecticut, USA Tilda Kiianlehto started acting at the age of six in Finland. After working as a child actress in big and small screen productions, she is now focused to work behind the scenes in various roles from producing and production management to camera operations and editing. As an actress, her big screen debut was the role of Vilttitossu (Quiltshoe) in a Finnish film Heinähattu ja Vilttitossu (Hayflower and Quiltshoe) in 2002. The film won two Finnish National Jussi Awards, an Annual Award for working for the Benefit of Children in Finland and a best film award at the Stockholm Film Festival Junior in Sweden. From there on, she commenced to play supporting roles in various Finnish language TV movies and series, as well as short films. For example, she has appeared as Hanna in a TV movie Enkeli Tulessa (2004), Aino in a TV series Käenpesä (2005), Anna in a short film Löytötavaratoimisto (2005), Miina in a TV series Kylmäverisesti Sinun (2005), a girl in a short film Emma (2005), and Siiri in a promotional short film Metron kauneimmat saippuakuplat (2005). She has also done various Finnish language voice over roles, like Liisa in Marikki (Madicken) and Marikin Hassut Seikkailut (Du är inte klok Madicken) in 2004, Mertle in Lilo and Stitch II and Lilo and Stitch TV series in 2005 and Leroy and Stitch in 2006. Other projects include for example various voice roles in an English language study materials English Vocabulary Fun 1 & 2 (2008). She has also been acting in small theater productions, as well as worked as an intern in Finnish production companies.
