Shelly Ray is an actor/performer/host/model in the Mile High city, Denver, Colorado. She is a retired Professor of Mathematics turned entertainer. Her years in front of a college classroom eased her transition to the screen and stage.
In addition to acting, she performs under the stage name Bella Fire. Bella has spend 8 years honing her craft as burlesque performer, 4 years as an emcee/event host, and has over 20 years of experience as a trained dancer. She has graced many regional, national, and international stages in over 20 festivals where she won titles including Master of Tassels in Utah BurlyPics 2019 and Best Dance Performance 2023 Croatia Burlesque Festival. She is mentored by Legend Tiffany Carter and continues to expand her burlesque education through workshops, festivals, and conferences. She is also training in fire and has started infusing fire into her burlesque performances.
