Attended The Citadel, The Military College of South Carolina before
studying theater at the College of Charleston.
Was an NCAA Division I wrestler at The Citadel, The Military College of
South Carolina. After injuring his shoulder he transferred to The
College of Charleston where he majored in theater.
Won the Golden Crescent Award for Best Screenplay at the 2009 Charleston International Film Festival for his screenplay "Lowcountry".
