Walt 'Liquor' Taylor

Born and raised in the San Francisco Bay Area, Walt Taylor (aka Walt Liquor) is a multidisciplinary artist and music executive that has enjoyed over 20 years in the entertainment industry. He's been a successful artist, producer, DJ and talent manager. He was instrumental in the formation of the Bay Area indie hip-hop explosion of the late 90s as the artist-producer-recording engineer, Eclipse 427. As an executive, Walt was a global hip-hop product manager for the TRC Distribution, which was the largest one-stop music distributor on the West Coast. He was also vice-president of the San Francisco Grammy Chapter and Mixshow DJ at the Bay Area's throwback station Q102.1.
Walt later found success providing management services for award-winning and ground-breaking artists, producers, songwriters and choreographers such as Planet Asia, Zion I, Mystic, Jake One, Supa Dave West, Tee-Flii, Pigeon John, Doc Ish, Krondon, Flii Stylz and even super group Maroon 5.
Walt and his team of writers and producers have worked with several television networks, film studios, and video game companies such as: ABC, CBS, NBC-Universal, Fox Television, Showtime Networks, Comedy Central, HBO, VH1, BET, G4TV, MTV Networks, Fuel TV, SiTV, Lion's Gate Films, Sony Pictures, Metro Goldwyn Meyer, EA Sports, XBOX 360, Sony Playstation, and 20th Century Fox. They have also provided tracks for superstar artists such as: Eminem, The Black Eyed Peas, De La Soul, Talib Kweli, 50 Cent & G-Unit, Hieroglyphics, Sean Kingston, Murs, Mystic Journeymen, E-40, and Busta Rhymes to name a few.
Most recently, Walt and his team were hired by Tyler Perry Studios' Pitch Black Production as Music Supervisor and Composer for the new series All The Queen's Men on BET+.
