- Giovanni Aiden Jennings was born in Seattle, Washington, to Seattle-born Robert Jennings and Los Angeles-born Melanie Jennings. Raised in Issaquah, Washington, he attended Issaquah High School, where he worked on various student-led films with Issaquah Film Club. Starting off as a cinematographer and later directing and writing, Giovanni had his directorial debut in the Issaquah Film Club production, Scavengers (2021), which premiered at North Bend Theatre.
