Habib Hasim Mithiborwala ( born 17th June 1981 ) is an Indian Actor and Anchor has acted in TV serials, Hindi Movies, International Web - Series and has hosted more than 300 Live Shows as an Emcee. He launched his own Talk Show during lock down I'm the year 2020 The Habib Show on Instagram and interviewed around 100+ Indian and international Celebrities. Habib Mithiborwala has been an Entrepreneur since the year 2000 and is an active partner in the company Gujrat Timber Syndicate that deals with timber items and is located in Kurla West, Mumbai.
Habib Hasim Mithiborwala was born on 17th June 1981 in Godhra, a Panchmahal district in Gujrat and was raised in Mumbai, Maharashtra, India. He completed his primary education from St. Mary's Highschool in Kalina ( Mumbai ), his high school education from Holy Cross High School in Kurla West, Mumbai and his College from Rizvi College, Bandra West, Mumbai ( India ).
Habib married Alefiyah ( a Pharmacist and state level Gold Medalist ) in 2009 and the couple were blessed with baby girl Sarrah in 2010 and a boy Hussain in the year 2014.
Habib Mithiborwala is also a businessman since 2000 and an active partner in the company Gujrat Timber Syndicate that deals with timber items. It is located in Kurla west, Mumbai. It is his family business which was set up by his late grandfather Fidaali Badruddin Mithiborwala in 1970's. It is currently handled by his father Hatim Fidaali Mithiborwala.
Habib Mithiborwala was also appointed as Advisory Board Member for Panache Runway which is owned by fashion designer Vishal Kapoor (VK) in the year 2021.
After his accident, Habib Mithiborwala does charity and denotes to various NGOs like Anfaal Foundation, Women Respect Foundation, Help Foundation, Women Respect Foundation NGO, and is deeply involved in high - impact social work.
During the 26th July 2005 Mumbai Floods, Habib Mithiborwala was stuck in the car for around 12 hours. He was rendered unconscious due to gas leak from the air conditioning of the car. When he was found and brought to the hospital initially, he was declared dead. He was revived but the news was extremely grim. He had developed 'Compartment Syndrome' due to which his legs from knee down were paralyzed and he had no sensation in his entire body and lost full body movements; doctors initially thought of amputing them.
As long as Habib Mithiborwala remembers, he always wanted to become an Actor. He started his acting career with theatre, he learnt acting and direction under Mohan Azad who is a film director and writer of the critically acclaimed film 'Chandani Bar'. After his college Habib Mithiborwala joined his father's family timber business Gujrat Timber Syndicate in the year 2000.
His dream of becoming an actor came true at a young age 21 when he got his dream role of playing comic character Nakul in famous serial Remix which was directed by Goldie Behl, Iqbaal Rizzvi, Jaggi, Tamara and produced by Srishti Behl Arya under Rose Films for which he was critically acclaimed and won the ITA award for acting in year 2010 and Panache Image Award for Iconic Comedian in year 2020. He played role of Nakul for 600+ episode from 2002-2005. From here it was only uphill as his talent was recognized by one and all.
In 1999, he got his first TV ad which was world cup promo with legend Sachin Tendulkar and Rahul Dravid.
In 2000, he got his first hidi film, Tango Charlie, where he played a victim's child with co-star Bobby Deol and Ajay Devgn.
Despite his injuries due to which he lost ankle movement permanently, he danced with Salman Khan in the reality show 'Dus Ka Dum' in year 2008. He has done 5 feature films and more than 20 Television series. He is also acted in two webseries Detective Ragini 2 and Crime and Justice in the year 2021 both on Red Prime App.
