ted e. was born and raised in new York city. ted e. has been in show business since graduating from high school. ted attended medgar evers community college in Brooklyn new York for two years as a music major. he learn to play piano and bass guitar. ted e. is a natural singer 2rd tenor. at the age of 22 years old ted e. was recruited to replace a original member of ( the platters ) featuring tony Williams original lead singer of the group. he went on to travel around the world performing to sell out shows everywhere. ted e. was a member of the platters for 10 years ( 1982-92 ). after leaving the group ted went on performing as a solo artist, recording 2 full c.d.'s ( cool & sexy , ted e. Fame ). ted e. lived in japan for 10 years performing nightly at various night clubs across the country. in 2007 ted e. moved to Los Angeles to pursue an acting career. he is auditioning for new t.v. and film roles at this time.
