Kannada star Rishab Shetty, who scooped praise for his rooted film ‘Kantara’, met the Malayalam superstar Mohanlal recently.

The actor took to his Instagram on Thursday, and shared pictures from his meet-up with the Malayalam cinema legend.

In the photos, Rishab, accompanied by his wife Pragathi Shetty, is seen posing with Mohanlal, all three smiling for the camera.

He wrote in the caption: “An honour and a pleasure to meet the legendary @mohanlal sir.”

Mohanlal wore a grey shirt paired with a mundu, while the ‘Kantara’ director-actor opted for a white shirt, complemented by a plain white mundu. Pragathi was spotted in a pink suit.

Kannada actor Rishab Shetty, who received critical acclaim and commercial success for his film ‘Kantara’, visited a temple in Mangalore city along with his family where they offered prayers. Taking a break from the preparations of ‘Kantara: Chapter 1’, Rishab Shetty and wife Pragathi attended the Buta Kola.

The two shared the glimpse of the temple visit on social media and wrote in the caption, “In the presence of God, blessed moments.”

Rishab, who served as director and writer, proved his brilliance and distinctive storytelling with ‘Kantara: The Legend’ and now he has begun working on the much-awaited prequel ‘Kantara: Chapter 1’.

The 25-year-old Pragathi, who clocked a best lap of 01:41.96, was among 12 qualifiers for the final round which will be run on Wednesday when the Asia-Pacific champion is decided.

“I am extremely happy to qualify for tomorrow’s Stage 3. The conditions in the afternoon when I drove were much better than in the morning and I was able to perform well. Yesterday was my first experience driving a Cross Car, but now, I am a little more comfortable with it and happy for the opportunity to compete in this competition,” said Pragathi.
