Simple Plan Cover “Can You Feel the Love Tonight” for New Disney Pop-Punk Covers Compilation: Stream
Simple Plan have released a cover of “Can You Feel the Love Tonight,” both as a dedication to The Lion King’s 30th anniversary as well as for a new Disney pop-punk and alternative rock covers compilation titled A Whole New Sound.
Simple Plan’s rendition of the Elton John song is certainly more upbeat, taking the balladry of the original and turning the volume dial much, much louder. Vocalist Pierre Bouvier sings the iconic chorus surrounded by vocal harmonies, and if you were wondering what a pop-punk version of “Can You Feel the Love Tonight” sounds like, just listen to Bouvier sing the words “kings and vagabonds.” Stream Simple Plan’s cover below.

The Offspring‘s recently wrapped “Let the Bad Times Roll” tour featured support from Sum 41 and Simple Plan — one of the strongest pop-punk tour packages in recent memory.
The trek ended earlier this month, but during the second to last show on September 2nd at the Jones Beach Theater in Wantagh, New York, members of all three bands shared the stage for a surging run through of The Offspring’s ska-tinged number “Why Don’t You Get a Job?”
The epic moment occurred toward the end of the main portion of The Offspring’s headlining set. For the first time on the tour, the band was joined onstage by tourmates Deryck Whibley of Sum 41 and Pierre Bouvier of Simple Plan.
The two form a veritable punk-rock triumvirate with The Offspring frontman Dexter Holland, as their voices stack in joyous harmony during the song’s chorus refrain. The pro-shot footage...

In the video, Wren is seen being held up and burped by a nurse in his crib, but it was his hair, which appeared to be pushed up in the centre, resembling a mohawk, that got all the attention.
Teigen wrote in the caption, “the hair. simple plan is shaking.”

In celebration of today’s release of the new Paramore album, After Laughter, we’re paying homage to the beloved music videos that perfectly captured our 2000s angst and went down as legends.
Prepare to bask in the dejection:
Paramore: “Misery Business”
We could never look as good as Hayley Williams with fiery red hair, but we sure could try.
My Chemical Romance: “I’m Not Okay (I Promise)”
We lived for the band’s misfit antics in their movie trailer-inspired masterpiece. But what did Gerard Way just want to do?! The suspense haunts us to this day.

Lights is a pretty and successful pop star. But that's now. Back when she was known as Valerie Poxleitner, she was just another teenage girl whose own light was dimmed by bullies for the crime of being different.
"In high school I not only didn't have a whole lot of friends, I went to a lot of different schools because we moved a lot. I ended up just keeping to myself and trying to get my work done and do my thing. I wasn't particularly stylish. I was kind of lanky. I didn't grow into my body yet," Lights tells Huffington Post backstage at Free the Children's We Day youth rally in Calgary, where bullying has become a topic in the wake of Amanda Todd's suicide.

Go Ninja, Go Ninja, Go!
Okay, perhaps reciting the lyrics to the theme song of The Teenage Mutant Teenage Turtles II: The Secret of the Ooze isn't exactly the best way to make a first impression, especially when karaokers would probably boo the horrible rendition, but it seemed somewhat appropriate in the presence of Rob Van Winkle.
Better known to the masses as Vanilla Ice, the rapper exploded on to the music scene thanks to his infectious No. 1 single, Ice Ice Baby, and later made a cameo in 1991's Ninja Turtles sequel. Sitting in Van Winkle's dressing room for the reality show Canada Sings, the topic of director Michael Bay rebooting the Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles franchise has immediately come front and centre, and so has Van Winkle's catchy Ninja song.
“You know that song is bigger than Ice Ice Baby right now?” laughs Van Winkle. “Well, the generation that it captured is humongous.

Pop punks Simple Plan has been around for over a decade and still to this day they seem to produce the same music that made them who they are. As such, “Get Your Heart On!” the fourth LP only varies a few differences, Such as guest appearances including K’Nann, Weezer’s Rivers Cuomo, All Time Low’s Alex Gaskarth, and Natasha Bedingfield. Bedingfield’s appearance on “Jet Lag” collaborates well with vocalist Pierre Bouvier having the two, toss lines back and forth makes this tune enjoyable and pleasant. “Loser of the Year” has rather energetic portions with guitar structure that keeps the music going non-stop if you will, whereas This Song Saved My...

Simple Plan's first official single "Jet Lag" has got an official music video which features their guest Natasha Bedingfield. Away from the "Strip Me" singer, frontman Pierre Bouvier sings his agony of missing her. "5 more days and I'll be home. I miss you so bad," he wails.
"Jet Lag" is recorded for Simple Plan's new album "Get Your Heart On!" which is coming out in the U.S. on June 21. " 'Jet Lag' is one of my favorite songs off the record and it sounds great," Pierre said. "[It's] for the first time we are doing a duet with a female vocalist."
Talking about working with Natasha, the lead singer gushed, "Natasha Beddingfield rocked it and it sounds amazing. She has an amazing voice and she totally blew us away with her vocal talent. Both girls are also going to be in the video."

Simple Plan support their brand new song "Save You" with a just-debuted music video. Starting with the band's in-studio performance, the music video continues with a capture of Jay Bouvier, the band's vocalist Pierre Bouvier's brother, and guitarist Jeff Stinco's mother Francine Bergeron-Stinco lying on the floor in a dimmed room alongside the other cancer survivors.
With a scene showing the people get off the floor one by one, Pierre screams verses, "If you fall/Stumble down/I'll pick you up off the ground." At the end of the video, the people, making cameo appearances, are revealed. Some of them are Kevin Hearn, Sharon Osbourne, and Marissa Jaret Winokur.
"Save You" is the third single off the band's self-titled album and penned in tribute to Jay, who was diagnosed with non-Hodgkin lymphoma cancer at the age of 28. Produced by Dave Portman, Danja, and Max Martin, the band's latest...
