T.J. Wollard

T.J. Wollard was born to Rev. Orville L. Wollard and Juanita Wollard. He was raised in Tarpon Springs, Florida. He fell in love with playing music during his youth. As an instrumentalist, he learned to play many of the woodwind instruments, including clarinet, saxophone, bassoon, and flute. He went on to major in Music Education at the University of Central Florida from 1982 until 1987. T.J. got a part time job working at Big Thunder Mountain Railroad at Walt Disney World in 1984. The concept of being able to create happiness for theme park guests, also made him very happy. He enjoyed working for Disney so much that he decided to make a career in the theme parks instead of music. Working his way through many theme park attractions, he found himself on the opening team for The Twilight Zone Tower of Terror (aka The Hollywood Tower Hotel). He was cast as a creepy Bellhop. Along with his daily attraction duties he was used in many television specials, photo shoots, and documentaries for The Twilight Zone Tower of Terror and Walt Disney World. He did not give up his love for music, however. He found time to perform with local bands and theater groups.
