Chara Lianou

Chara is a bilingual actress, director and screenwriter of Greek and Scottish origin. She has a BA in Acting, and an MA in Acting and Directing. She also holds a degree in Biology resulting in a unique approach to theatre and filmmaking. As an actress she has collaborated with acclaimed directors in theatre, cinema, television and commercials. She has voiced animated characters both in Greek and English for TV and streaming platforms. She has also written and directed the short films "Marble Women" and "Always comes true" (Epidaurus International Film Festival Short Script Award). She speaks English and Greek as native languages, is fluent in French and Spanish and has a basic knowledge of Italian and Russian.
