Orestis Rouskas was born in Athens. His first student short film, "Transistor Radio", was screened in a lot of countries and won awards in many festivals (Micro m Festival, International Moving Festival). He has worked in a lot of films as 1st assistant director and script supervisor. He studied Industrial Management and Technology at the University of Piraeus. He is currently studying in a master's degree program in Athens at the department of Communication, Media and Culture of Panteion University. His second short film, "Caged", is part of the Market Catalogue of the Festival de Cannes and will premiere at Chania Film Festival in October.
