Born in Baldwin Park, Juliana Cuevas is a Mexican American actor raised in Southern California. Acting and filmmaking are their favorites to partake in.
Growing up a first-generation American, they found welcoming arms in their high school theatre department, a place where they credit the inspiration to seriously pursue the arts. It was there they fell in love with live performance, mesmerized even now by the immediacy of theatre, feeling the viewers share the space.
Prior to the pandemic, they placed as a Theatre Finalist in the National YoungArts Foundation in 2018, and shortly after went on to train for their BFA at New York University. Since then, they can be found in various commercials and indie shorts.
