Bolu Essien is a Nigerian Actor, Writer, Director & Producer. She is the Creator, Writer, Co-director, and Producer of new Comedy workplace drama series on Netflix titled Becoming Abi, where she also plays the titular character Abi. Before this, she was featured in Dying with the King (2010), Broken Bridges (2012), and Things That Broke Us (2021). Bolu Essien is also an alumnus of the Identity School of Acting, in the UK where she studied Acting.
