- Author of "The Gemini Project" (L.A. premiere 2001), "Unholy Matrimony" (L.A. premiere 2002) and "Duct Tape and Dreams" (L.A. premiere 2003).
- Wrote and appeared in the play "Heart Murmurs and Brain Matter" which made it's Los Angeles debut in March 2000, followed by a run in England the same year.
- Wrote and starred in "Comfortably Numb" L.A. premiere April 2001.
- Appeared in View of the Dome in Los Angeles at the Sacred Fools Theatre, March 2004.
- In April-May 2004, she participated in six consecutive weeks of "Fast & Loose", a theatre experiment where she wrote a new play every week that was cast, staged and performed in 24 hours at Sacred Fools Theatre in Los Angeles. The plays included: "Where the Buffalo Hang", "Breaking the News", "Every Man's Fantasy", "Mummy Knows Best", "No Such Thing As Bad Publicity", and "Meeting of the Minds".
- (2012) Wrote and directed "A Kind of Love Story" which made it's debut at the Sacred Fools Theatre. The show garnered six LA Weekly Theatre Award nominations, including nominations for playwriting and directing. Riley won the Comedy Director award.
