Neal Tyler's directorial feature debut, Driftwood, was released in March 2024 by Octane Multimedia after a successful festival run in which it won "Best Cinematography" and "Best Production Design." His short films (including Immolation, Iris, and Last Supper) have played at multiple film festivals, winning "Best Drama," "Best Cinematography," "Best Editing," acting awards, and more. Immolation was recently released by Chilling Entertainment.
As a DP, Neal was awarded "Best Cinematography" at Golden State Film Festival, Culver City Film Festival, and Silver State Film Festival for Driftwood, as well as the feature films, Bittertooth and Blood Covered Chocolate.
Neal served as Co-Executive Producer on the documentary series "Cesar Millan: Better Human Better Dog" for National Geographic, and has produced series such as "Live Rescue," "Animal ER," & "Lone Star Law." His work has been broadcast on A&E, Animal Planet, PBS, Disney+, Amazon Prime, and more.
Neal's original screenplays have placed at Austin Film Festival, PAGE International Awards, BlueCat, Script Pipeline, ScreenCraft, and other top competitions.
