Interior and exterior design, over 15 years in construction: carpentry, plumbing, electrical landscape design; snow ski instructor, lifeguard, river guide, furniture builder and re-finisher, cabinetry, framing, mountain biker, roofer, motor rider.

Brooks was a lifeguard and swim instructor in Salt Lake City, Utah and was a river rafting guide. He taught snow ski lessons throughout the winters and led guided ski tours in the back country. Brooks backpacked across the Canadian Rocky's alone and lived in the wilderness for 6 months. Brooks is also a survival expert for arctic, desert and mountain regions.

Born and raised in Salt City, Utah, was introduced to construction at the age of 12 by his father, Rex, who built homes for many years and took Brooks under his wing until he soared on his own.
