'NewsHour's' Crystal moves; Winslow upped
NEW YORK -- Former NBC News president Lester Crystal will move from executive producer of PBS' The NewsHour With Jim Lehrer to president of McNeil Lehrer Prods. in a round of management changes announced Thursday. Crystal will be replaced as NewsHour executive producer by Linda Winslow, deputy executive producer and one of the original staff members of the 30-year-old PBS newscast. Crystal is replacing Dan Werner, who is leaving the president's post to become executive producer of McNeil Lehrer Prods. and focus on two projects.
