Daniel Alan Ross is a full time animator working in the computer games
industry in Marin County, California. In the late 1980s he started out
as a freelance storyboard artist, CG and traditional animator in Kansas
City and St Louis Missouri. He worked on numerous television
commercials for Japan and the U.S. and interned at ILM in 1991. On a
search for more creative freedom, in 1993 Ross switched to the computer
games industry where he became an Art Director and Designer. Currently
he enjoys animating more than directing and also illustrates horror and
fantasy short stories and novels.
Ross has a BFA in Photo/Video Production, Kansas City Art Institute 1992 with a Minor in Japanese Studies; Japanese history, language and liturature.
