An award-winning animation producer and director, Mike has been a fixture in the Canadian animation community for almost 30 years.
He pioneered creator-driven and storyboard-driven kids' shows in the late 90's on productions like the cult favourite, Untalkative Bunny, and made his mark in web-based series and shorts for the likes of College Humor and Smosh a decade later. Mike currently operates a boutique studio, Go Lucky, out of Ottawa.
He is an in demand production and development consultant, focusing primarily on micro-budget features and short films, a respected speaker and guest lecturer, a committed educator, having taught at Algonquin College, Sheridan, and Seneca College, and finally, as the founder and publisher of Canadian Animation Resources/Cartoon North he has spent 14 years advocating and community-building in the Canadian animation landscape.
