- Had to change her artistic name twice, first due to Spanish bolero singer Tamara threatening a lawsuit over the name, she changed her stage name to Ámbar in 2004. This name change, however, was short-lived, as the name was already registered, and she settled to Yurena in 2005.
- Daughter of Margarita Seisdedos and Floreal Cuena.
- Has released two albums so far: "Superestar" in 2001 and "Around the World" in 2016.
- Her debut single, "A Por Ti", released in November 2000, was a big success in Spain, spending 10 weeks at #1 and achieving a Gold certification.
- After having a steady musical career from 2000 to 2005, she quietly retired and opened a nightclub in the Malasaña neighborhood in Madrid. She returned to the music scene in 2012 with a revamped image and singing electro-pop music in English.
