Brooks artistic journey started during her college years with a minor in theatre and a major in Broadcast Journalism, fostering a range of skill sets such as acting, music, film-making, news reporting, photography, and sculpting. While pursuing her degree, she engaged in media roles, fulfilling duties as a producer and reporter at the university's television news station. Simultaneously, she worked at the Arkansas Traveler newspaper and hosted a radio program for the university station, KXUA.
Her film-making career began when Brooks participated in a graduate student program led by Dale Carpenter, an Emmy award-winning filmmaker. This phase marked her debut televised credit, "From Script to Strike" (2016), while simultaneously assisting in the production of television shows such as "Noise Culture" (2015) and "Backroom Politics" (2015).
Post-graduation, Brooks devoted seven years to creating educational animations for online courses with the University of Arkansas Global Campus. This period is where she developed her proficiency in 3D/2D animation, motion graphics, character design, costume design, 3D sculpting, 3D Layout, and illustration. Simultaneously, she engaged in a decade-long stint as a Minecraft level designer, contributing her talents to servers like LemonCloud and Desteria.
Parallel to her multifaceted endeavors, Brooks briefly ventured into modeling, participating in runway shows and magazine features. Notably, she contributed to the fashion film "The Collective: A Ten Part Fashion Film," with Interform Fashion.
However, Brooks' focal point remains Tonari Animation Studio, where she continues to grow in the entertainment industry. In August 2023 she released the first animation project she ever directed, "Ironmouse Unleashed" (2023) for the Vtuber Ironmouse's 6th Anniversary stream. She has also created animations for other Vtubers such as Gawr Gura, Onigiri, and Girl_DM. Her roles at Tonari Animation include key animation, animation supervision, direction, story-boarding, character design, and producing. Some of the Japanese anime projects she has worked on includes, "Boruto: Naruto Next Generations," "Akiba Maid War," and "Magical Destroyers."
