Octavio Comba was born in Buenos Aires, Argentina, in 1991. He studied Audiovisual Arts at the Universidad Nacional de las Artes. At the National University of Córdoba he studied a Diploma in Development and Project Management in the Audiovisual Industry. "El encanto de la mosca" (2021), his debut film, had its world premiere at the official selection of the FIDBA (Buenos Aires International Documentary Film Festival) where it won first prize in the new directors competition.
