Born in Hawaii, Q was raised primarily by his mother, who nurtured his creative spirit from a young age. As a child, Q received an offer to audition for a Disney series, but had to decline because he couldn't afford to travel to Los Angelesat the time. Ever the optimist, Q vowed to eventually go to Los Angeles to pursue his dream of becoming an actor and musician.
Overcoming challenges such as periodic homelessness and moving from school to school because of housing instability, Q learned to adapt and thrive in various environments, developing unwavering willpower and flexibility that continue to define his success in his creative pursuits today. Optimistic and resilient from an early age, Q did not consider these early trials as hardships but instead felt they instilled in him a resilience and fortitude that he could draw from, even in the darkest of times.
To forge a deeper bond with his father, Q left Hawaii and moved to Houston, Texas, where he attended high school. At his father's urging, Q, a natural-born athlete, pursued sports, excelling to the point of landing multiple college scholarship offers for football and track.
It was the sudden and tragic loss of his older brother that made Q take his creative aspirations seriously. Learning that life can be taken from you in the blink of an eye, Qstopped taking his talents for granted and started looking at life differently, appreciating every minute of every day lest it be snatched away from him as his beloved brother was. This seize-the-day attitude kept Q focused, humble, and determined, preventing him from smoking, drinking, or dabbling in anything that could hinder the pursuit of his dreams.
Steadfast in his goal to pursue a career as a performer, Q turned down his athletic scholarship offers and instead attended Sam Houston University, majoring in business marketing to eventually market himself to the world. After achieving success with his music and content creation, Q, a 4.0 student, dropped out his senior year and moved to Los Angeles to pursue an entertainment career, where he's gotten off to an impressive start.
Already making his mark on the film world, Q will soon be seen starring in the horror thriller Only Seven Days, directed by Marcel Walz. He will also appear in the upcoming films A Walking Miracle, Bad Connection, and Darkness of Man, directed by James Cullen Bressack and starring Jean-Claude Van Damme.
Besides being a busy, up-and-coming actor, Q is a gifted R&B and pop singer/songwriter and a member of the prestigious All-American Choir. Q is also a popular and prolific content creator with a fan base of over 27 million.
