Mario Drmac was born in Mostar, Bosnia & Herzegovina.
During his elementary education (1984 - 1992) he was a member of an amateur theater in Mostar and Silly Theater. From 1992-1997, he worked professionally in the puppet theater in Mostar.
He worked with the Croatian National Theater in Mostar on the play 'Tena' (directed by Bobo Jelcic) and then for a year and a half as an editor of a children's radio show in Mostar.
In 1997, he went to Sarajevo to study at the Academy of Dramatic Arts (acting) in the class of Professor Admir Glamocak. During his education, he worked on many student plays.
