Maya Moten is an independent filmmaker located in the DFW Metropolitan area. As a former actor for two decades, she strives to collaborate with others to tell stories about the power of connection and the challenges people face when those connections are missed.
Along with her creative partners Lonnie Mack and Kembria Moreland, she started the company Soul Sync'd Productions focused on fostering healthy collaborative relationships with other filmmakers, local talent, and their surrounding communities. Their current client roster includes Tree Log Productions, Dr. Ollie Enterprises, NubuView, and Day & Night Watch Co.
Having trained with notable film companies like Silverstone Productions, Kool 7 Studios, and Anytown Pictures, Maya aims to create visually stunning films with heartfelt messages that resonate with viewers.
