Daniela Lugo is a bilingual Latina actress and filmmaker, born and raised in Mexico City, and the founder of Lugo Films. From a very early age, in 2013, she began studying acting, filmmaking, singing, and dancing. During her amateur training, she participated in musical theater productions such as R&H Cinderella, Pippin, The Producers, Sweet Charity, Evita, among others.
In 2016, Daniela discovered her desire to become a filmmaker while working on the Oscar-winning film "Roma," directed by the incredible Alfonso Cuarón. At the age of 18, she moved to New York to pursue her career in acting and filmmaking, studying at prestigious institutions such as The American Academy of Dramatic Arts (Class of 2022), Stella Adler (Class of 2019), Broadway Dance Center (ISVP), and Steps on Broadway.
Daniela has performed at the majestic Carnegie Hall in New York City, as well as the astonishing Palacio de Bellas Artes in Mexico City, and had the honor of appearing at the historic Hudson Theatre in Los Angeles. Active in the production of short and feature films in her home country and the United States through her production company Lugo Films, she collaborates with highly recognized filmmakers in both countries. Currently, she resides in Los Angeles, California, where she has shared the screen with Hollywood stars such as Bella Thorne and JLO, among others. She has played various roles in theater, television, and the film industry, including her off-Broadway debut in 2023 with the leading role in the play "Octopus In Its Own Ink". All of this in a relatively short period of time.
