Jessica Evans, born and raised in Milwaukee, WI, now resides in the great state of Mississippi. She is a devoted mother of five beautiful daughters and has been rooted in her Christian faith since childhood. After many years dedicated to raising her family and serving God, Jessica has discovered a new passion for filmmaking.
Embracing this calling, Jessica has flourished within the vibrant community of filmmakers known as the 100/7, under the mentorship of Maximus Wright and the Soarpreneur team. She has also established herself as a talented actress, earning the Best Actress Award at the 2024 JXN Film Festival.
Jessica's journey in the film industry has provided her with diverse skills and experiences, including roles as a Unit Production Manager, Script Supervisor, Sound/Boom Operator, writer, and director.
Recently she wrote and directed her debut short film, "Touched," a modernized adaptation of the biblical parable of the Woman with the Issue of Blood.
Committed to her mission, Jessica continues to share her talents through cinematic lenses, inspired by the opportunities God provides.
