Anaya Murray is an 18-year-old award-winning filmmaker and storyteller passionate about amplifying authentic voices. She created acclaimed short films like Amorphous, By Design, Father's Day, and The Placebo through her work in the Indie Memphis Crew Up Program. Beyond her personal projects, Anaya has contributed her skills to work on live videotaping productions, such as assisting with the SHELL YEAH! Benefit Concert Series at Overton Park Shell and "Live from Chapel Hill," a night of improv and sketch comedy from SNL's Bryan Tucker & featuring Asian AF. Anaya's diverse experience includes roles as a director, screenwriter, editor, photographer, camera operator, and script supervisor.
