Emmy Award Winning filmmaker, Sam Wasserman has been addicted to storytelling and fascinated with all things creative since he was 4 years old. He attended the coveted USC School of Cinema-Television before earning his Master of Fine Arts in Directing at The American Film Institute. His short films have been honored in over 160 film festivals around the globe - earning top awards, including the Student Emmy for his AFI thesis film.
Throughout Sam's career, he has directed, created and produced a multitude of hit TV shows, films and commercials for networks including MTV, YouTube Originals, BET, WEtv, E! Entertainment, OWN, A&E, Lifetime, Animal Planet, Roku, Facebook Watch, Discovery Channel, Discovery+, FYI, History Channel, Weather Channel, Masterclass and Apple. He was nominated for a 2019 Emmy Award for "Band Together with Logic" starring Joseph Gordon-Levitt and Logic and Won the 2020 Primetime Emmy Award for "Create Together" with Joseph Gordon-Levitt, for which he also received a 2021 Producers Guild Nomination.
In addition to his television work, he recently produced the feature film "Flinch" and has directed/ produced commercials and music videos with talent such as The Kardashian Family, Lisa Vanderpump, Logic, Nene Leakes, and attorney Robert Shapiro. Sam has consistently exhibited talent and passion in both scripted and unscripted mediums.
