Jessica Myhr is a versatile actress who has worked off-broadway and regionally while appearing in several commercials, television series and films. Jessica has an MFA in Acting from Mason Gross School of the Arts at Rutgers University under extraordinary teachers like Bill Esper, Deborah Hedwall, and Israel Hicks. From a strong love of the classics, to natural comedic timing and deep vulnerability, Jessica has a wide range and unique duality. Whether she is taking on the fierce harpy as Ariel in The Tempest, a "captivating and coldly wicked" (NY Times) London prostitute, or winning you over on roller skates in a Ken Ludwig farce while doing a terrible Marlon Brando impression, or even stuffing her face as Izzy in Rabbit Hole, "Myhr threatens to walk off with the show whenever she appears." (Philadelphia Inquirer)
Jessica was directed by Adam Arkin on Sneaky Pete (Amazon) and had a recurring role on All My Children (ABC) as a sassy nurse of Pine Valley hospital having several scenes with Alicia Minshew and Susan Lucci. Select films include; Babyface, Jim and Emma, Bristol Goodman, Speed of Love, Send in the Clown, Textual Intercourse, Julia, Henry (PBS Special) and Casual Encounters. She's worked at several New York City theatres including The Majestic Theatre (Broadway), The Beckett Theatre, St. Clement's Theatre, The Clurman Theatre, The Storm Theatre, LABA Theatre, FringeNYC among others and regionally at the Arts Center of Coastal Carolinas, Actors Shakespeare Company, Amphibian Stage, Northern Stage, Philadelphia Theatre Company, Theatre with a View and The Phoenix Theatre PA. No matter what creative project she takes on, "Myhr raises the enterprise to a higher level." (Broad Street Review)
