Mariya Lugovaya was born on 23 July 1987 in Leningrad, RSFSR, USSR [now St. Petersburg, Russia]. She is an actress, known for Better Than Us (2018), Ne zhenskoe delo (2013) and Dead Mountain (2020). She has been married to Sergey Lavygin since 25 January 2020. They have one child.

In 2008, she graduated from Saint Petersburg State Theatre Arts Academy.

As a child, she studied ballroom dance and music.
